Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will play a key part in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of the store. Your focus will be on providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, stock shelves, and assist customers.
- Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and all company procedures.
- Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient and accurate operation of a cash register.
- Safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning tasks.
- Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Work independently and within a team.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multi-task effectively.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience preferred.
