We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeping Manager to oversee and ensure the cleanliness of all guest rooms and public areas at Holiday Inn and Suites Gateway. As the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for supervising staff, maintaining inventory, handling guest complaints, and ensuring all housekeeping operations meet company standards.

Responsibilities:

• Create daily assignments and plans for housekeeping staff.
• Supervise and monitor room inspectors, attendants, and other housekeeping personnel.
• Interview, hire, train, schedule, and assign duties to department personnel.
• Inspect guest rooms daily to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Maintain inventory of uniforms, supplies, and equipment.

Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of hotel housekeeping and cleaning techniques.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to conduct thorough room inspections.
• Team-oriented and capable of managing staff effectively.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; 3+ years of hotel operations experience preferred.
• Strong language and reasoning skills in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

Physical Demands:

The Housekeeping Manager position requires standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, and other physical activities.
