LNA - McClure Miller Respite House

Job Description

The University of Vermont Health Network is looking to hire a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our Hospice & Palliative Care team at the McClure Miller Respite House. In this role, you will provide hands-on care, emotional support, and guidance to terminally ill patients and their families, ensuring their comfort and well-being during a challenging time.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and personalized care to patients either at the McClure Miller Respite House or in their homes.
• Establish trusting relationships with patients and families, focusing on their unique needs and preferences.
• Offer education, support, and comfort to families undergoing a difficult period.
• Collaborate effectively with a team committed to delivering high-quality and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Active Vermont Nursing Assistant license.
• Demonstrated compassion and dedication to providing empathetic care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
