MRI Supervisor - Sign-On Bonus

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an MRI Supervisor at The University of Vermont Health Network. As the Team Leader for our MRI Team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing technical operations, ensuring compliance, and maintaining high standards of patient care. In addition to supervisory responsibilities, you will actively participate as an MRI Technologist, provide guidance to team members, and foster collaboration within the department.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical and compliance measures in MRI operations.
• Assist in scheduling to meet patient volume needs.
• Participate in the hiring process and provide guidance to staff.
• Ensure safe and effective patient care through workflow management.
• Actively perform duties as an MRI Technologist.
• Facilitate collaboration and serve as a coach to team members.
• Participate in weekend on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Associates Degree from an approved Medical Radiographic Program preferred.
• Advanced certification in MRI required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the appropriate modality.
• Supervisory skills/experience preferred.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
