Patient Care Tech / PCT Orthopedic

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our Orthopedic Unit at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. This position offers the opportunity to work the night shift on a PRN basis, providing crucial support to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs under the supervision of nursing and medical staff.
• Monitor and record patients' progress, vital signs, and lab test specimens.
• Perform basic patient transport, housekeeping duties, and assist with range of motion exercises.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic Life Support certification.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Two (2) years of experience in acute or long-term care.
• Completion of approved CNA, PCT, or paramedic certification, or currently enrolled in nursing school.
