Responsibilities

• Promote professionalism and establish a cooperative work environment with colleagues.
• Obtain specimens following laboratory guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with care providers regarding patient data and laboratory samples.
• Maintain regulatory and accreditation standards compliance.
• Follow procedural directions and prioritize workload efficiently.
• Handle specimen packaging, transport, and accessioning.
• Practice proper infection control and patient identification procedures.
• Engage in self-evaluation to enhance knowledge and skills.
• Promote service excellence and contribute to laboratory growth.
• Perform arterial punctures and other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
• Preferred: Completion of an accredited phlebotomy/medical assistant program or relevant experience.
