We are looking for a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our team at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing phlebotomy services in a professional and patient-centered manner.

Responsibilities

• Promote professionalism and maintain a cooperative working environment.
• Obtain specimens following laboratory guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with care providers regarding patient information.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Adhere to procedural directions and protocols.
• Organize and prioritize workload efficiently.
• Ensure proper packaging and transport of specimens.
• Perform specimen accessioning and drug screen collection.
• Respond to laboratory phone calls.
• Recognize emergent conditions and take appropriate action.
• Evaluate and improve practice skills.
• Ensure quality care and service excellence.
• Work collaboratively with various departments.
• Conduct arterial punctures when required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited phlebotomy/medical assistant program or relevant experience.
• Prior experience in a clinical setting.
