We are currently seeking compassionate Private Duty Nurses (LPN) to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare in Squirrel Hill and surrounding areas. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide one-to-one care to our patients, ensuring they can stay at home with their loved ones. With flexible scheduling options including Over-Time, Full-Time, Part-Time, or Per-diem, you can enjoy the freedom to create your own work schedule while being paid competitive weekly rates.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting any changes to supervisors and physicians.
• Document all care activities and observations promptly and accurately.
• Implement and update nursing care plans, taking necessary actions to achieve desired outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on self-care techniques, disease processes, and preventive measures.

Requirements

• Active nursing license in good standing.
• CPR certification.
• 6 months of nursing experience (New Grad Program available).
• Compliance with Aveanna policies, state and federal regulations, and nursing standards.
