Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join The University of Vermont Health Network. As a Medical ICU RN, you will be an essential part of an interdisciplinary team focused on implementing best practices and evidence-based research in the critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients in various states of health and illness through comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellence in patient care delivery.
• Actively engage in quality initiatives, research projects, and professional development activities within the medical/cardiac intensive care unit.
• Demonstrate astute assessment skills and clinical reasoning in caring for patients with complex multi-system organ impairments.

Requirements

• Valid RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont.
• Possess more than one year of experience in a relevant clinical area.
• Commitment to pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) as per organization requirements.
• Strong accountability, responsibility, and willingness to advance professional certifications such as CCRN.
