Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Alternative Care Unit at Shep 3 North within The University of Vermont Health Network. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new unit that caters to long-term care patients awaiting placement. As a Registered Nurse in this setting, you will provide care to patients with a variety of diagnoses, leveraging your strong communication and leadership skills. Preference will be given to candidates with charge nurse experience for oversight responsibilities.

  • Unit Description: Shep 3 North is an alternative care unit opened in March of 2024, handling 18-20 long-term care patients.
  • On-call: Not required
  • Incentives: $10K RN Sign-On Bonus (pro-rated for part-time roles)
