Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining store operations, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to uphold our standards.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies and professionalism in all tasks.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting shoppers and addressing inquiries.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory management, and operational matters.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy in tracking merchandise.
- Adhere to cash handling procedures and company policies to minimize discrepancies.
- Maintain store cleanliness and uphold security and confidentiality standards.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older to work at ALDI.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Skilled in operating cash registers and store equipment.
- Capable of following company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
- High school diploma preferred; retail experience a plus.
