Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. As a key member of the store staff, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, cashiering, and ensuring the store maintains a clean and organized environment. You will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and collaborating with team members to uphold ALDI's standards.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
  • Assist customers, communicate effectively with team members and management.
  • Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
  • Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling procedures.
  • Follow company policies, ensure document security, and confidentiality.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Proficient in customer service and operating a cash register.
  • Capable of using equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Retail experience is a plus.
