Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and provides exceptional customer service. This full-time position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week, starting at $17.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies, Mindsets, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure orderly displays.
• Provide excellent customer service and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Assist management by providing feedback on products, inventory, and store operations.
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
• Follow company procedures diligently while upholding security measures.
• Perform physical tasks including stocking shelves and operating equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Excellent customer service and cash register skills.
• Ability to operate store equipment and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Strong communication skills and the capacity to work independently and in a team.
• Demonstrate organization, attention to detail, and ability to multitask efficiently.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is advantageous.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent may be considered.
