Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of the store staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining merchandise, assisting customers, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. Collaborating with team members and management, you will uphold ALDI's standards and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide courteous customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and report feedback to management.
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy in monitoring inventory.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses and uphold company procedures.
  • Maintain security and confidentiality of documents and data per company guidelines.

Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Proficient in operating a cash register and retail equipment.
  • Ability to perform general cleaning tasks to company standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
  • Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is advantageous.
