Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play an essential role in maintaining the store's appearance, providing excellent customer service, and collaborating effectively with the team.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure security and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
• Capable of meeting physical demands and maintaining cleanliness standards
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask
• Compliance with state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail experience is a plus
• Combination of education and relevant experience
