1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our dedicated team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a crucial part in receiving and organizing incoming stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, and ensuring the warehouse meets safety and appearance standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise based on product handling guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Suggest process improvements to warehouse management.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Positive attitude, collaboration, and resilience.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate equipment.
• Stand, bend, reach, and work in varying temperatures.
