Cashier/Stocker (Part-Time)

Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join Aldi as Cashiers/Stockers on a part-time basis. As a member of our collaborative team, you will be responsible for operating registers, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and providing exceptional customer service. This role offers a dynamic work environment with varied responsibilities that make each day unique.

Position Details

• Position Type: Part-Time
• Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to direct leaders.
• Uphold the security and confidentiality of documents and data within your area of responsibility.
• Operate registers, process customer purchases, and maintain general cleanliness.
• Stock shelves, rotate products, and create well-merchandised displays.
• Follow safety procedures and operate machinery as required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Effective verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of retail products and services.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is an advantage.
• Ability to operate a cash register (for Cashier roles).
• Ability to handle and sell alcoholic beverages (for Cashier roles).
• Operate equipment safely and properly (for Stocker roles).
