Construction Cost Project Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a Construction Cost Project Analyst to join our National Real Estate Services team at Aldi, one of the fastest-growing retailers in the nation. In this role, you will be responsible for managing construction costs on a national level, collaborating with divisional real estate teams to assess construction bids and ensure cost effectiveness. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of construction documents and hold an educational background in construction, architecture, or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Work with Construction Managers to negotiate with contractors.
• Collaborate with divisional teams to evaluate appropriate scopes and pricing.
• Provide pricing data to ensure consistent and competitive pricing structures.
• Prepare bid analysis reports for project awards.
• Track pricing data and advise on efficiency improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Construction Estimating.
• Experience with RS Means software and construction cost indices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
