Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating an outstanding shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases and maintain tidy product displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counting activities and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring document security.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
- Capable of performing general cleaning tasks as per company standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- High school diploma preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
