Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of the store, you will be responsible for various duties such as merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness in the store, and organize merchandise displays.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate efficiently with store management.
  • Provide feedback on product quality, inventory management, and any operational issues.
  • Participate in store inventory procedures and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Follow cash handling policies to prevent losses and adhere to company guidelines.
  • Comply with all company policies while maintaining the security and confidentiality of data.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
  • Capable of performing general cleaning tasks according to standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team or independently.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is advantageous.
  • A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
