Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to create an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service, assist customers during their shopping journey.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with the management team.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies and uphold data security and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years old or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently and accurately operate a cash register.
- Safely operate equipment like electric/manual hand jacks, floor scrubbers, etc.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and can multitask effectively.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is a plus.
- A mix of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
