Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our new store team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness, all while delivering exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Follow cash policies to minimize losses and comply with company procedures
- Perform general cleaning duties to company standards
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
