Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join Aldi. In this role, you will receive comprehensive training to prepare you for managing a store effectively. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily store operations, ensuring top-notch customer service, managing staffing needs, and implementing operational plans while nurturing and developing the team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day store operations to deliver excellent customer service.
• Communicate and embody company core values to foster teamwork among employees.
• Handle customer issues promptly and effectively.
• Maintain store signage, product quality, and freshness standards.
• Participate in the recruitment and hiring process.
• Create and adjust schedules for optimal staffing levels.
• Set performance expectations and provide coaching for staff development.
• Conduct store meetings and training sessions.
• Monitor inventory levels and merchandise presentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to lead a team effectively.
• Experience in retail management is preferred.
• Capability to interpret and implement company guidelines.
• Proficient in budget management and personnel supervision.
• Skilled in operating cash registers and store equipment.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
• Combination of education and experience considered.
• Prior management experience is a plus.
