Job Description
L.L.Bean is looking for a licensed Industrial Master Electrician to join our team at the Order Fulfillment Center in Freeport. This full-time position offers competitive pay starting at $37.00 an hour, premium pay for night shifts, great benefits, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus. As an Industrial Master Electrician, you will be responsible for providing senior level electrical maintenance support, ensuring the safety and reliability of electrical systems up to 600 volts AC. This role involves working on a variety of industrial equipment, conducting preventative maintenance, troubleshooting automated systems, and collaborating with internal clients to support technology requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide second-level support for complex electrical maintenance issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance on industrial equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled equipment.
- Install, maintain, and support robotics and vision systems.
- Handle power distribution systems, lighting, and emergency power systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and procedures.
- Act as a mentor for junior electricians and provide expertise for projects.
Requirements
- Licensed Master Electrician with industrial maintenance experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E.
- Experience with PLCs and reading blueprints.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Valid driver's license and proficiency in operating aerial lifts.

Education and Experience
Master electrician license and 6 years of experience required. Vocational/Technical Degree or Associate's Degree preferred.
