Job Description
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Collaborating with the Aldi team, you will enhance the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and provide customer assistance
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling policies
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Proficient in customer service and cash register operation
- Ability to operate equipment and perform cleaning duties
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
