Job Description
We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our ALDI team. As a Store Team Member, you will play a key role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. You'll collaborate with team members and provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain product displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
- Follow company policies and procedures to uphold security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of cash register and equipment
- General cleaning duties and adherence to company standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Organized, detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail experience preferred
