1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join Aldi's team. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week with starting wages ranging from $18.00 to $24.00 per hour, based on the shift schedule. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling incoming stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse standards, and collaborating effectively with the team.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately and fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise strategically.
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with peers and management, providing feedback for process improvement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and efficiency.
• Basic arithmetic skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, operate industrial equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
• Excellent communication skills and adherence to company policies.
