Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Manager to join the Aldi team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with store management activities, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering team development. As an Assistant Retail Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing store performance and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement action plans to improve store operations.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
• Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
• Monitor the competitive landscape and recommend initiatives to maintain a competitive edge.
• Ensure compliance with inventory procedures and cash control policies.
• Supervise store operations and escalate issues as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to operate a cash register and various equipment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior management experience is a plus.
