Clinical Development Lead, Solid Tumor Oncology, BTC & GEA

Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Development Lead for Solid Tumor Oncology in BTC and GEA at Jazz Pharmaceuticals. This pivotal role involves leading late-stage development and life-cycle management of a key Oncology asset, driving Clinical Development strategy, and managing a team of Medical Directors and Clinical Scientists. As part of a cross-functional team, you will oversee clinical trial execution, regulatory compliance, and budget management to ensure successful outcomes for patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for clinical development in Oncology for BTC and GEA.
• Develop comprehensive global clinical development plans, study designs, and regulatory strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute clinical programs seamlessly.
• Monitor and analyze clinical trial data, manage risks, and optimize resources.
• Cultivate external collaborations to advance the oncology pipeline.
• Foster a high-performance culture within the clinical development team.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience leading Solid Tumor Oncology development successfully.
• Proven track record in leading high-performing clinical development teams.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with executive-level audiences.
• MD required, Board-certified Oncologist preferred.
• Higher postgraduate degree preferred.
• Clinical experience in solid tumor oncology, particularly BTC or Gastrointestinal cancers.
