Medical Science Liaison

Job Description

We are hiring a Medical Science Liaison to join the innovative team at Jazz Pharmaceuticals. This role will involve serving as the primary scientific expert for the company's products in the field of Sleep Medicine/Neuroscience. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining scientific relationships with medical professionals, facilitating scientific development, and ensuring compliant scientific communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific exchange and communication of FDA-approved and pipeline products.
• Establish and maintain scientific relationships with opinion leaders.
• Support clinical operations and investigator-initiated research.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful scientific communication.
• Document and report adverse events according to company policy.

Requirements

• Effective communication of scientific data to internal and external stakeholders.
• Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements for field-based scientific personnel.
• Ability to develop trust and relationships with opinion leaders.
• Collaborative and team-based approach with strong networking skills.
• Willingness to travel and work evenings and weekends.

Education and Experience

• Advanced doctorate degree (PharmD, MD, DO, PhD or equivalent).
• 0-2 years of pharmaceutical industry experience or clinical/research experience.
• Experience in Sleep Medicine, Neurology, or Psychiatry preferred.
