Job Description

We are looking for a Director, Global Medical Affairs, specializing in Neuroscience-Sleep, to join Jazz Pharmaceuticals. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an integrated Global Medical Affairs Strategy and Plan for the molecule, driving high-quality scientific and strategic communications globally. As a subject matter expert in the field of sleep, you will play a vital role in ensuring effective product lifecycle management and contributing to the company's mission of transforming patients' lives through innovative medicines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an integrated Global Medical strategy for Sleep.
  • Craft and execute communication strategies in collaboration with Medical Communications team.
  • Maintain strong scientific knowledge of the Sleep market and competitive landscape.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and success of Medical Affairs strategies.
  • Build relationships with key opinion leaders and engage in Global Expert Engagement plans.
  • Ensure compliance with international codes and regulations.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Clinical experience in Neurology/Psychiatry, with a focus on Sleep.
  • 7 - 10 years of Medical Affairs and/or clinical development experience in neurosciences.
  • Experience in developing and executing Global Medical Affairs Strategies and Plans.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • MD degree strongly preferred.

Education and Licenses

Doctorate degree required. MD degree strongly preferred.
