Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking an experienced Executive Director for Late-Stage Oncology Clinical Operations to lead a team dedicated to executing and delivering the Oncology Phase 1 -3 pipeline. This strategic role requires in-depth knowledge of solid tumor clinical development, global operational planning, companion diagnostics, and expert understanding of ICH/GCP requirements. The successful candidate will oversee project goals, staff development, and financial management, while playing a key role in the Global Clinical Development Operations leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Direct operational aspects of the late-stage oncology clinical development pipeline.
  • Ensure accuracy of clinical research budgets and timelines.
  • Mentor staff and build high-performing clinical teams.
  • Provide expertise for the development of clinical documents and trial conduct.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience, with 10 years in oncology.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across all levels.
  • In-depth knowledge of clinical research, ICH GCPs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong business acumen, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Advanced understanding of clinical operations and trial technology.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
