Executive Director, Late-Stage Oncology Clinical Operations

Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Executive Director for Late-Stage Oncology Clinical Operations to lead a team responsible for executing and delivering the Oncology Phase 1 -3 pipeline. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in solid tumor clinical development, strategic planning, global operations, and regulatory compliance. This role involves overseeing project goals, staff development, and financial management while ensuring operational excellence and fostering strong cross-functional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Direct all operational aspects of the late-stage oncology clinical development pipeline.
• Assure accuracy of clinical research budgets and timelines.
• Provide mentorship to staff and lead high-performing clinical teams.
• Partner with various departments to ensure operational excellence.
• Manage CRO and vendor selection and provide technical expertise for clinical documents.

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years' experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology industries.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Deep understanding of clinical research, regulatory requirements, and financial acumen.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
