Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and overall store operations.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
- Comply with company policies, maintain document security, and uphold confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old or above to apply.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and other store equipment.
- Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain store standards.
- Understand and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Stay organized, pay attention to detail, follow instructions, and multitask effectively.
- Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages as needed.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
