Payer Account Executive, National - Medicaid (Remote)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Payer Account Executive to join our team at Jazz Pharmaceuticals. As the National Payer Account Executive for Medicaid, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with Fee for Service and Managed Medicaid accounts, ensuring market access for our diverse portfolio of life-changing medicines.

Responsibilities

• Execute market access strategies within assigned Medicaid accounts.
• Collaborate with field sales colleagues to leverage access opportunities.
• Cultivate relationships with key individuals in target payers and industry organizations.
• Coordinate Jazz activities with target payers as the main point of contact.
• Conduct business reviews and implement market access strategies.
• Educate target payers on Jazz products and associated diseases.
• Negotiate rebate agreements consistent with company guidelines.

Desired Skills and Experience

• 10+ years of pharma/biopharmaceutical experience with recent Medicaid Account Manager success.
• Experience in team leadership and project management roles.
• Strong network with key individuals in National Accounts.
• Proficiency in healthcare, formulary development, and compliance regulations.
• Excellent business acumen, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree (MBA, JD, or PharmD preferred).
• Experience with specialty products, rare diseases, and specialty markets.
• Flexibility for travel and clinical knowledge in specific therapeutic areas.
