Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) to join ChristianaCare HomeHealth's Private Duty Nursing team. In this role, you will provide specialized care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in the comfort of their homes. Your responsibilities will include administering medications, coordinating care with healthcare providers, and building positive relationships with patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert care to medically fragile patients.
- Coordinate care with families and healthcare providers.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Build positive relationships with patients and families.
- Work a minimum of two weekend shifts per month.
Requirements
- DE LPN or RN license with 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Ability to attend orientation sessions.
- Previous home health or Long Term Care experience is a plus.
- Tracheostomy and ventilator experience preferred.
