Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in maintaining the store's appearance, providing exceptional customer service, and working closely with the ALDI team to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies while ensuring security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Experience in retail and general cleaning preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
