Job Description

We are hiring a Store Operations Assistant to join the dynamic team at ALDI. As a key member of the store operations, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure an excellent shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize displays
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
  • Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses
  • Follow company policies and uphold data security

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Prompt and courteous customer service skills
  • Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
  • Ability to interpret and apply company procedures
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Retail experience preferred
