1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a diligent 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. As a vital part of our operations, you will be responsible for efficiently managing incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring warehouse cleanliness, and working collaboratively with the team to meet organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and provide input for process improvements.
• Collaborate effectively with peers, suppliers, and management.
• Operate equipment safely and report any quality or safety concerns.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Conscientious, collaborative, positive attitude, and resilience.
• Drive for success and organizational efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company procedures, communicate effectively, and work independently or in a team.

Physical Requirements

• Lift items up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate equipment.
• Perform various physical tasks and work in different temperature environments.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
