1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. Our warehouse plays a crucial role in receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores to meet the needs of our customers. As a part-time position, you will work fewer than 30 hours per week in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas. You will receive a starting wage of $23.75 per hour and undergo comprehensive training to ensure your success in the role.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain cleanliness.
• Collaborate effectively with peers and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Ensure product quality, safety, and sanitation standards are met.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.
• Perform all assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
