2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the ALDI team. As a Package Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, relocating merchandise, loading and unloading shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and participating in inventory counts. You will work collaboratively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to improve processes and achieve budgeted goals.

Job Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Cooperate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Provide input on process improvements.
• Inspect and report on product quality and safety.
• Perform tasks accurately and efficiently within company policies.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions.
• High school diploma preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise and prepare for deliveries.
• Various physical activities including bending, reaching, gripping, pushing, pulling, lifting, and walking.
• Work in varying temperatures including outdoor and cooler environments.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
