2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organization. The position is part-time, with an average of fewer than 30 hours per week and starting wage of $25.75 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to meet safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientious, collaborative, positive, success-driven, and efficient work behaviors.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and basic math skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise within the warehouse and prepare for deliveries.
• Engage in various physical activities in different temperatures.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
