Community Bank President/Ag Lender

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Community Bank President/Ag Lender to join Bank Iowa Corporation in Newton. In this role, you will lead a team of Relationship Managers and Loan Assistants, generate quality Ag and Commercial loans, and represent Bank Iowa in the community. This position plays a crucial part in growing and maintaining the bank's portfolio and contributing to the community's development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and champion the bank's values, culture, and strategic direction.
• Manage an agriculture and commercial loan portfolio, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Participate in civic and community activities to establish the bank as a center of influence.
• Approve loans within specified limits and collaborate with management for approvals outside the limits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Ag Business, Finance, Economics, or related field with 7+ years of lending and banking experience.
• Strong agriculture background preferred.
• Extensive supervisory and management experience.
• Ideal candidates will have leadership, credit analysis, underwriting, or sales experience.
