Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join Pediatric Associates of Greater Salem Inc as a Care Team Nurse. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, managing high-risk patients, and ensuring smooth operations within the clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in infection control and age-appropriate pediatric care.
• Assess and address the physical, emotional, and socio-economic needs of patients and families.
• Provide urgent care, triage, and crisis management both in-office and over the phone.
• Document nursing care accurately using EMR and facilitate communication among healthcare professionals.
• Administer vaccines, medications, and perform various in-office procedures efficiently and professionally.
• Coordinate post-hospitalization care and education to prevent complications.
• Maintain continuous education and training focused on pediatric care.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within the care team.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, Microsoft Office, and HIPAA compliance.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and valid LPN license in Massachusetts.
• Current Basic Life Support certification and adherence to nursing standards.
