Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse - Pediatrics

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse to join Pediatric Associates of Greater Salem Inc as a Care Team Nurse. In this role, you will lead the clinical care team, ensuring smooth operations, providing direct patient care, and offering education to patients and families. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in infection control and age-appropriate care for pediatric patients.
• Assess and address the physical, emotional, and socio-economical needs of clients and families.
• Provide urgent triage care, administer vaccines, medications, and perform in-office procedures.
• Coordinate with healthcare services post-hospitalization to prevent complications.
• Maintain ongoing education and training in pediatric care.
• Adhere to practice policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a care team.
• Compliance with HIPAA regulations and proficiency in EMR and Microsoft Office.

Educational Requirements

Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current RN/LPN license in Massachusetts. Basic Life Support certification and adherence to American Nursing Association Standards of Practice are essential.
