1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are currently hiring for the position of 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker at Aldi. As a Warehouse Stocker, you will play a vital role in efficiently managing stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating effectively with the warehouse team.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to meet warehouse standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate and communicate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and report any issues.
• Work independently within designated responsibilities.
• Assist in achieving budget goals.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Efficiently organize and execute tasks.
• Interpret company policies and procedures.
• Have strong communication and basic arithmetic skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift objects up to 45 pounds and move merchandise.
• Stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
