1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Stocker, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating with peers and supervisors to improve processes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Organize, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties and maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and contribute to process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and collaborate with warehouse management.
• Operate equipment safely and maintain compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Demonstrated competence in quality, safety, collaboration, positive attitude, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise and prepare deliveries.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
