Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a vital role in store management, overseeing day-to-day activities, ensuring store performance, managing schedules, developing action plans, and identifying training opportunities to foster team growth.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 38 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $25.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing action plans to enhance operational results
  • Communicate job expectations and performance standards to team members
  • Identify training opportunities for team development
  • Monitor competitive environment and provide feedback
  • Participate in interviewing and onboarding processes
  • Ensure inventory procedures and customer service standards are met
  • Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when needed
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Experience in retail management preferred

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of retail experience
  • Prior management experience is a plus
