Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a vital role in store management, overseeing day-to-day activities, ensuring store performance, managing schedules, developing action plans, and identifying training opportunities to foster team growth.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 38 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $25.50 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in developing action plans to enhance operational results
- Communicate job expectations and performance standards to team members
- Identify training opportunities for team development
- Monitor competitive environment and provide feedback
- Participate in interviewing and onboarding processes
- Ensure inventory procedures and customer service standards are met
- Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels
- Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when needed
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience in retail management preferred
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of retail experience
- Prior management experience is a plus
