Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist with supervising daily store operations, enhancing team performance, and implementing operational strategies to ensure the store's success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to improve store operations.
  • Provide clear job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and recommend operational adjustments.
  • Participate in the hiring process and communicate effectively with the team.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies.
  • Maintain store cleanliness standards, proper signage, and stock levels.
  • Supervise daily operations, escalate issues when needed, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and management abilities.
  • Familiarity with company policies and procedures.
  • Operational and budgeting experience.
  • Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive retail experience.
  • Management experience is a plus.
