Job Description
Join our team at ALDI as a Full Time Store Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to work 32-40 hours per week. The starting wage for this position is $17.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and provide exceptional customer service.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and issues to management.
- Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses while upholding company procedures.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow company policies, maintain security, and confidentiality of data.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient and accurate cash register operation.
- Safely operate equipment and perform cleaning duties to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
